About

The Hoarderie was created by Estelle Pigault, a passionate fashion expert with an eye for detail and a deep love for vintage and repurposed fabrics. Before launching her own brand, Estelle worked as a personal stylist, buyer, and the owner of Paradise Garage—a well-known store in Paris.

Now based in Puglia, in the south of Italy, Estelle spends hours exploring local markets, discovering beautiful, timeworn fabrics with stories to tell. Inspired by their uniqueness, she decided to create one-of-a-kind garments that honor both craftsmanship and sustainability.

Estelle has always been drawn to crochet and everything knitted. Puglia has a long-standing savoir-faire in crochet, with many artisans dedicated to this craft. Luxury fashion houses often turn to this region for its intricate crochet and lacework. The crochet details used in Hoarderie pieces are made using rare, highly technical techniques, preserving a rich tradition of craftsmanship.

For Estelle, starting a brand was always a dream, but she never wanted to contribute to the overproduction of fashion. Instead, she found a way to create something meaningful, slow, and sustainable. Each piece is handmade in small ateliers in Puglia, taking hours to complete, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail.

At The Hoarderie, sustainability meets craftsmanship—every piece is unique, timeless, and created with respect for both artisanal techniques and the planet.
